The Peyragudes Deluxe Cup 2008

From July 9th to July 12th, the BLC organizes with the support of the French Federation of Roller Skating, and the IGSA (international Gravity Sports Association) one of the six runs of Downhill World Cup (Roller Inline, Buttboard, Longskate and Streetluge) on the road to the ski resort of Peyragudes in Haute Garonne.

• The French Federation of Roller skating has commissioned the association ‘Bordeaux Longskate Club’ to organize a race of the Downhill French Championship in the Pyrénées for the second time.

• The IGSA has also chosen France and the Bordeaux Longskate Club to manage one of the six races for the World Cup (France, Austria, Australia, Germany, USA, South Africa).

The Peyragudes ski resort in the heart of the Pyrénées will welcome us in a magnificent natural area. The entire ski resort will prepare an unforgetable time.

• More than a 100 downhill racers will come from all over the world to fight and to win the race in order to give their best... Enough to expect some exciting duels and a great show in a superb place!

• This four-day competition is open to all members of the French Federation of Roller Skating and to international competitors. Therefore we can expect to see top runs at speeds over 100 km/h.

• The top 100 of international downhill riders and the French champion in 2007 will take part.

Remember that the world champion of butt-board for 2007 is Jonathan Blottier, a French rider as the world champion of Streetluge for 2007 is Gauthier Dekyndt

The organization will offer a complete package including food. There are 4 restaurants in the ski resort for you every morning, lunch and dinner of the 4 days event.

Breakfast will be "continental" , including coffee, tea, orange juice, croissants.
Lunch will include a meal, dessert, drink.
Dinner will include a starter, a meal, a dessert and drink.
